CONDITIONS OF PARTICIPATION

  1. The choir that wishes to participate in the Festival will have to pay the amount in concept of the Inscription Fee to have the right of participating. Likewise, each choir member will have to pay a total charge to cover general expenses. That amount shall be deposited in the bank designated by the Organizing Committee. In case  the choir  cancels its participation within the three months prior to the start of the Festival, the inscription fee shall not be

The Inscription fee shall be paid, not later than June 28th, 2020, as a down payment and confirmation of its participation. However, the Inscription fee deposited not later than April 30th, 2018 will receive a 20 % discount. In all cases, the remaining amount must be completed not later than September 30th, 2020.
  • The Organization of the Festival is committed to pay the expenses caused by lodging (in hotels within the City of Buenos Aires very near downtown), meals and terrestrial transport during the festival, since the arrival of the Choirs at Ezeiza International Airport in Buenos Aires, from novembre 1st to November 7th, 2020. They shall be taken back again to the Airport for their return, on November 8th, 2020. During the week of the festival, the Organizing Committee will not be responsible for any burglary, loss, damage or inconvenients related to the luggage, instrumental equipment or other belongings of the members of the choirs. As well as the Medical Insurance, it will be responsibility of  the participant choirs.
  1. The Organizing Committee will not be responsible for any other services not included in these conditions. The expenses raised from those services will be exclusively at the choirs´ own risk and charge .
  2. Each group shall include a maximum of 25 members including the Conductor. In case the number exceeds, the Choir will have to pay for each extra member, the sum of USD $80.- (EIGHTY  DOLLARS) per day to afford general expenses.
  3. The Choirs shall find out in the Consulate or the Argentine Republic Embassy of their country, whether it is required a visa or a special license to enter in our country and in such case, it will be their exclusively responsibility to get all the documentation before the estimated date.  Each group shall provide the Organizing Committee  a list including all the choir members  at least three months before the beginning of the Festival, as well as copies of their passports and medical insurance certificates .
  • Furthermore, each Choir shall send to the mailing address provided in the annex , all the information about the choir and a digital picture in high resolution to be printed in the programs. Preferably, the picture should be with the typical costume worn in important concerts. They should, as well,  send a choir’s résumé and another brief résumé of the Conductor , and the repertoire of the songs that will be interpreted at the concert .
  • The Participant Choirs will give a daily concert of approximately one hour , from which 10 or 15 minutes shall be polyphony and the remaining time could be national or international folklore . Any musical instrument and/or equipment, like keyboard, sound boxes, percussion instruments, etc., needed by the choir for its concerts, shall be brought by the choir itself.
  1. Each Choir shall have a free day, which will be previously informed by the Organizing Committee. The choir will spend such day as it may deem convenient, and all the expenses derived from meals and transportation, as well as sightseeings or visits shall be paid by the choir.
  2. The participation shall be confirmed with a copy of the deposit slip of the Inscription Fee and each Choir shall send a certificate of such deposit via fax o e-mail, in order to collect the charge.
  3. Once the choir is accepted and the deposit is confirmed, each Choir shall be given the common scores for the choral mass of the Festival´s Closing Concert.
  • The Organizing Committee reserves the right to record in audio and video the performances of the different choirs during the Festival. Such recordings may be obtained by the choirs or their members at the end of the Festival.
  • The signature of this agreement implies accepting all and each of the clauses in which the conditions of the organization of this  Festival are established.
  • This agreement together with a registration form hereby attached, shall be signed and filled in with all the information2 therein required, and shall be sent to the Organizing Committee at their earliest convenience.
